It's a BOY!!!

On Friday evening, I had the chance to meet the Alves, as well as some of their family and friends as together they celebrated the gender reveal of the littlest love coming this Fall.  Jenna, their family friend, did an incredible job planning the reveal and Jaymelynn, step sister added the sweetest little touches like the cake pop.  ( In all seriousness, I may need them for my daughter's birthday this summer)

Megan and Josh's two year old son, Cade is incredibly cute and is going to be a fabulous big brother.  And I'm not just saying that to be kind.  The little guy had no problem sharing any of his toys with all of the other kiddos.

In addition to his big brother Cade, it looks like this little love is going to be surrounded by cuteness!  Look at all of these darling faces.

 

The actual gender reveal was so well planned.  But even the best laid plans can go awry.   Cade was to open a box filled with balloons revealing if the baby is going to be a boy or girl.  At the same time all of the guests were going to spray the family with blue silly string.

During the shower of silly sting, everyone started to notice that it was a little more wet than expected.  And after a delayed response, everyone went running for cover as they noticed the sprinklers had come on.  Now, how's that for timing!  But of course it did not dampen this joyous occasion.  Congratulations to the Alves family!!!
